India’s government has a platform called MyGov for citizen engagement. It is a Section 8 company under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology that is part of the Digital India Corporation as an Independent Business Division. Visit Official Website for more information about MyGov.

MyGov is looking for a graphic designer to join the team at the associate or senior associate level. This person will be expected to regularly create Infographics, Static and GIFs.

One of the responsibilities of a graphic designer is to collaborate with and inspire cross-functional teams to produce designs that are creative, useful, and consistent with technical and MyGov brand standards.

At the end of the day, you’ll need to design campaigns around important public policy initiatives that can be used across MyGov platforms, with a focus on those that will connect with citizens and encourage citizen engagement.

The first 3 months after your joining date will be spent on probation. After the probationary period, MyGov is not obligated to recruit you or extend you a regular contract. The length of the probationary period may be shortened or lengthened by MyGov entirely based on your performance.

The regular contract will be granted after the successful conclusion of the initial contract period.

Post Name : Associate / Senior Associate – Graphic Designer

Education : Graduate in any field with a certificate in graphic design, multi-media, video creation or editing; or with a degree in graphic design or a related discipline.

Experience : 3 to 5 Years of experience

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Create Infographics, Static and GIF on a regular basis.
• Deep Collaborations with Researchers, Writers, Video, Tech teams.
• Design and develop app, homepages, landing pages, and email concepts.
• Very strong understanding of, and experience in, govt / development / NGO communication

Additional role requirements :

• Passionate about design with good knowledge in underlying principles.
• Experience at a reputed design house, with some years in leadership positions. Some awards
  will be an added advantage.
• Deep experience in on-brand creative solutions for a variety of uses: websites, product
  graphics, email templates, social media graphics, brand campaigns, and photography
• Ability to collaborate with and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver designs that are
  creative, useful, and align with technical and MyGov brand standards
• Can take ideas from concept to execution, working with project managers, design
  colleagues, information technologists, and content experts.
• Use the latest software and applications to design and develop digital solutions
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience working directly with developers to implement designs.
• Expertise with standard digital design tools, including Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe
  Photoshop, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.
• Working knowledge of CSS and HTML
• A strong background in developing layouts and graphic design for E-books/Magazines,
  Brochures, Posters etc.
